Mike Bolton and a Life with Sharks

In episode 28 we speak with Mike Bolton, a legendary underwater photographer and shark conservationist who has spent a lifetime working to raise awareness of our ocean world. Mike shares stories from learning to dive in Panama’s pristine waters in the 60’s, becoming a competitive spearfisherman, and working to salvage treasure from historic shipwrecks. Mike relates on his transition to hunting fish with a camera to learn and protect rather than for game and his last decade of work with white sharks in the famous Guadalupe Islands of Mexico where he returns every year to lead tours and document these amazing animals.
